What Project is about. the relevance & Justification.
The focus and or / purpose of the project was clearly and succinctly communicated, with evidence of independent thinking, and the ability to extend and apply knowledge. The justification or rationale provided was relevant, informed and contextualised, whilst demonstrating the ability to successfully deal with complex concepts. There is evidence of well-developed problem setting and solving skills.What informed the project- Appraisal of previous literature, evidence and practice.
There is thorough knowledge and understanding of the area of study and / or research and scholarship. There is evidence of wider reading, independent thinking, and the ability to extend, transform and apply knowledge, and deal successfully with complex concepts. There is evidence of engagement in critical evaluation to insightfully inform the project.How was project conducted? Description and evaluation of the project design and implementation.The project design and methods were clearly and succinctly communicated; well-articulated appropriately organised. The work evidences thorough knowledge and understanding of research, and the ability to successfully apply research knowledge and skills to the context of the project. Critical evaluation and reflection on the project design and implementation are an important feature of the work.What were the outcomes? presentation and critical discussion of the project findings/ outcomes and their significance/ impact.There is detailed analysis/ synthesis/ critical evaluation/ reflection, and considerable success in presenting and commenting on research process and outcomes. There is linkage between theory and practice and awareness of uncertainty, assumptions and the limits of their knowledge. Implications for future developments related to the project or student learning are well considered and communicated.Please find attached an additional excel data sheet with practical testing data that will need to be used to calculate Z scores. This is secondary data which has been given to me to use. My tutor advised to use additional variables such as calculating fat free mass and calculating the mass to power outputs. All of the testing will need to be linked to the performance of repeated sprint abilities which will be demonstrated by the yo yo test.
